All compost is not created equal.  Everything Grows Microbial Boost is a natural soil additive for all of your existing plants, trees, and flowers. It's a perfect blend of two natural ingredients;

• 100% African Nightcrawler castings
• Microbial Compost including mycorrhizal fungi and a special clay that allows for the formation of soil humus and clay-humus crumb.  These clay-humus crumbs are full of “nooks and crannies” which provide shelter for soil microorganisms.  Besides providing a safe home for microorganisms, their enormous surface area and negative charge associated with clay-humus crumb provides exchange sites for cations.  Building soil humus is one of the few ways to actually increase the cation exchange capacity of soils making plant nutrients more available to the plant by way of ion exchange.

In regular compost less than 1% becomes soil humus, which means if you do not create humus in the compost you will not have any in your garden. To make humified compost the entire procedure has to be controlled through daily measurements of moisture, temperature, and carbon dioxide to oxygen levels.  Humus will form in 8-10 weeks and it's filled with microbial life.

The conversion of organic matter to humus needs just the right amount of moisture, microbial activity and aeration(oxygen), along with the correct temperature, pH and soil composition.  In nature this can take decades to centuries to be accomplished.
